EffectiveHRM and Datakom join forces for Carten100
EffectiveHRM and Datakom will be participating as a team of eight in the 2018 Carten100, taking place on Saturday 12th May.
Carten100 is an annual charity cycle event, with the challenge of riding 100 miles from Cardiff to Tenby.
The charity was founded in 2004 with just four partakers. Last year more than 2500 riders took part, raising £251,000 for their chosen charities.
Funds are raised from direct event sponsorships to individual donations. The event has helped to raise substantial sums for several admirable causes.
The route for the ride trails over A roads, B roads, and cycle paths from Cardiff to Tenby, and follows the ethos “It is a challenge, never a race”.
Technical Director, Craig Jones is taking part:
“The Carten100 bike ride is well established in the cycling calendar, a really tough challenge which inspires thousands to take part.”
“We have taken part in this event for the past few years. We are super pleased to be partaking with one of our long-serving customers, Effective HRM this year. We wanted to encourage members of the team to get active and rise to the challenge whilst raising money for a great cause.”
EffectiveHRM provides human resource advice, training and services to businesses across the UK. They have built a reputation as a leading outsourced HR service with expertise in employment law, human resource, health and safety and management training.
Carten100 announced both Velindre Cancer Centre and Tenovus Cancer Care’s ‘Closer to Home Appeal’ as the main chosen charities for 2018. Several other charities are to receive smaller donations including Wales Air Ambulance, National Association of Blood Bikes, Kidney Wales Foundation and many more.
