Our forthcoming monthly blog – Written by Jay Ball (Our Managing Director)
An interesting month ahead. December is always a very unique month for us at DataKom.
Some years we’re extremely busy and trying to finish the year off on a high, and others we’re searching for work to keep our team active! – it’s always a balance to keep the engineering team busy, whilst always trying to deliver a fantastic service to our customers – I get the feeling this year will be a busy one!
We finished November with some great achievements and some fantastic new client additions - some loyal customer renewals and over 50 x 5-star Google reviews left by our customers.
Our marketing team are keen on us writing more blogs - so I’ll be writing something up now on a monthly basis to share on the DataKom website, along with other social means – the purpose is to keep our customers up to date with what we’ve been up to, and to attract new clients by showing us in a ‘real spotlight’.
So - through November and December, we’ve been - and will continue to be - busy finalising the details for the launch of two fantastic new products – both of which I can't yet reveal the name of!
However, the team are super excited to share this with you - so I don’t want to spoil the launch we’ve all built up to - but - I believe it’s really going to shape our business future and take us into new arenas – I strongly recommend keeping an eye on these two great products!
I am very much looking forward to 2017.
It’ll be 10 years since the launch of DataKom, and I must admit I am very proud of how the business operates and continues to grow. It’s a real honour to have my first employee, Louisa, still with the business - and she will also be enjoying 10 years, as an employee, in October.
It’s also a great achievement to still be working with customers & friends we started out supplying in the early days - and I hope they have seen how far we have come - which is completely down to their support – We’re planning our ten year party for April - so keep an eye for ‘save the date’ cards soon!
Anyhows, I’ll report back early January with my next monthly blog – and to all that read this, have a great December, Christmas & Fantastic New Year celebrations.
